We’re getting married, y’all!!
This October, we will stand before God, surrounded by the love of our families and friends, as we embark on the beautiful sacrament of Holy Matrimony. We feel incredibly blessed to celebrate this joyful season with the people who have loved, encouraged, and prayed for us along the way.
Marriage is one of God’s greatest gifts, and we are so grateful to begin this lifelong adventure together.
Then it’s time to celebrate the best way we know how—with great food, plenty of dancing, a little Texas hospitality, and a night we’ll never forget. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
— 1 Corinthians 13:13

What should I wear?
Our wedding ceremony will take place during a Catholic Nuptial Mass, a sacred celebration of the Sacrament of Marriage. We kindly ask our guests to choose attire that is respectful of the church setting.
For ladies, dresses or outfits with covered shoulders are appreciated during the ceremony (a shawl or wrap is a lovely option if your dress is sleeveless). Gentlemen are encouraged to wear suits or sport coats.
After Mass, we’ll head to the Houston Botanic Garden to celebrate! Feel free to kick off your heels, loosen your tie, and join us for an evening of dinner, dancing, and celebration under the stars.
Are children invited?
Absolutely! Children are joyfully invited to celebrate with us.
Children are one of God’s greatest blessings and a beautiful fruit of marriage. It wouldn’t feel like a family celebration without them. We look forward to seeing little ones on the dance floor, hearing their laughter, and celebrating alongside every generation of the people we love.
I’ve never attended a Catholic Mass before. What should I expect?
We’re so honored you’ll be joining us! Our wedding ceremony will take place during a Catholic Nuptial Mass and will last about an hour. There will be moments of standing, sitting, and kneeling, but please participate only as you feel comfortable. Guests of all faiths and backgrounds are warmly welcomed.
If you are not Catholic, we simply ask that you refrain from receiving Holy Communion. You may remain seated or go up for a blessing, by crossing your arms across your chest (hands to shoulders), during Holy Communion.
We are truly grateful to have you with us as we begin this beautiful sacrament of marriage.
